“This one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 3:13-14)
One of the most often statements I hear individuals say is “I am so sad in what I have let myself become. I USED to be able to ___________.”
It’s the “I used to…” that is the hang up.
It is ok to have grief over the loss of who you were. That is natural.
But here is where the turn around, the game changer, comes in to play…
“…straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus”
Trust that God knows where He is taking you.
Believe that the new person you are becoming is going to be even more AWESOME than who you used to be.
Celebrate the journey!
