I was driving down the road the other day and all sudden a powerful storm came bursting from the sky. You all should know my car does not like the rain, the windshield wipers stop working at the fastest speed, the roof leaks during heavy storms, and I am in a small car facing this big storm.

With all these factors I could have easily been afraid that it was inevitable that I was going to not make it through this storm safely.

In an instant, the song Way Maker rushed into my head.

You see there are times when our vision is blurry, the future is unclear, we do not know what we are doing or where we are going.

That can be scary, it can feel like we are living our lives blindly.

But we are reminded that “He is here, moving in our midst, working in this place, touching every heart, healing every heart, turning lives around, mending every heart.”

His powerful presence guides us E S P E C I A L L Y when we don’t see Him. He makes a way for us to see a glimpse of the miracles that He promises when we are in the dark.

 E S P E C I A L L Y when we don’t feel him, He is working. That is who God is.

He wakes us every morning with birds singing praises of renewed strength, even when we don’t feel it. He gave us the strength to see another day.

To anyone in the storm, unable to see what lies ahead, trust in His promise of harmony and peace that awaits you. Keep moving forward, keep fighting the battle, because there will be a day where the storm calms down and you will see the peace, balance, love and abundance that He promised.
