Meet Karen

A Love Story with Ups and Downs

My love for the Lord runs deep, but like any human relationship my side of the love story has its ups and downs. I’m good at handing over my struggles and frustrations to God and asking Him to release me from their burdens, but I’m also good at taking them right back and trying to take control again…I find myself on my knees quite often!

I have struggled with self-worth after a teen pregnancy.

I have struggled finding purpose after two athletic injuries which ended my collegiate basketball career.

I have struggled giving up control after experiencing a stillborn birth at seven months and a miscarriage at five months.

And I have struggled to forgive those who have wounded me along the way.

Any of these struggles familiar to you?

Through a growing relationship with God and the support from people who love me, I have learned how to recognize Satan's lies and grab hold of God’s truth for my life.

I praise God daily for His unconditional love and I’m grateful for His mercy and grace on my imperfect life.

It is this love and hope that I so eagerly want to share with you!

About

This is the Day

Do you ever wake up in the morning and wish no one knew you were here?

Yet at the same time, wanting to stand up and scream, hoping someone, anyone would notice you?

This Is The Day Ministry wants you to know that we see you, we hear you and we want to help you find God’s purpose in your life.

You woke up today, right?

That means God has a purpose for you to be here.

Psalms 118:24 “This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it”

Romans 8:28 “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to His purpose."

He has given us another day for a reason and it’s going to be GOOOOOD!

This Is The Day Ministry’s mission is to help teenagers and women all over the world have a greater sense of who God has made them to be and how they play an active role in fulfilling His plan for their lives.

“By faith we begin. By hope we continue. By trust we have peace. By action we fulfill our purpose.”
